WE TOOK A TRUCK LOAD UP ON JULY 7 th ...WE STILL NEED TOOLS FOR PUTTING THE TRIBAL HALL BACK TOGETHER- GOLDEN EAGLES NEW HOME !!! SO IF YOU HAVE ANY TOOLS THAT WOULD BE HANDY FOR FIXING THE ROOF OR PUTTING UP WALLS LET US KNOW. WE HAVE GOTTEN WONDERFUL DONATIONS AND I THANK EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP !!
FALL IS HERE AND NOW IS THE TIME TO GATHER BLANKETS, WINTER COATS , SOCKS, HATS, GLOVES, SHOES, BOOTS, WINDOW INSULATION AND FOOD.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND CHECKS IN YOUR BOXES OF DONATIONS. MOST PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE BANK ACCOUNTS TO DEPOSIT THEM. YOU WILL ALSO ONLY GET A TAX DEDUCTION THROUGH EARTH STAR.

I want to thank everyone who has helped, donated, networked, assisted in any way!!! I am truly grateful to each and every one of you. I thank you for your kindness and generosity. We will not stop until everyone has what they need to be warm this winter. Donations have arrived daily by mail and in person. Everything has been in great condition !!!!

WE TOOK A 14 FOOT U HAUL FULL OF CLOTHES AND TOYS AND WINDOW INSULATION TO ROSEBUD AND YANKTON SIOUX RESERVATIONS ON JANUARY 5TH. WE ARE STILL TAKING DONATIONS AND WILL TAKE ANOTHER TRIP UP THERE WHEN WE HAVE ENOUGH DONATIONS .

DO YOU SEE WHAT IS ON THE SIDE OF THE TRUCK ? IF YOU KNOW GOLDEN EAGLE IS AND HIS WORK WITH THE UNIVERSAL AND SPIRITUAL LAWS ( 11:11 )YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND. We ask for your help in the following areas:
1. Donations in cash and toys for "The Giving Tree". "The Giving Tree" matches a child with a volunteer who sends a new toy to them for Christmas. Last year we made over 60 children smile. Many families do not celebrate Christmas, they cannot afford presents. We ask parents to give us the child's name, address, clothing and shoe size and address. We put the names on the tree at Earth Star and volunteers pick a name and send a gift. If you cannot afford to mail the gift we will. You can email us or call us for names if you do not live in the area.
2. Donations of cash for assistance with propane , water and electricity. We are working with the utility companies on the Rosebud and Yankton Sioux Reservations to help pay the bills. We do not want anyone to die because they could not afford heat. There are no laws to protect people from having their electricity turned off and you have to prepay for propane before they will deliver. Propane is the main source for heat and hot water.
3. Donations of blankets, coats, shoes and warm clothes. I have addresses of people who are willing to accept the boxes and pass them out to those in need. You can mail them directly or send them to Earth Star. We need warm fluffy blankets, winter shoes, boots, slippers, winter coats, hats, mittens, towels, toiletries, diapers and non perishable food items for men, women and children.
4. Donations of plastic and caulking for windows and doors. We can make a huge difference if the houses can be sealed against the wind and cold. We need plastic and other materials and if possible people to help with the insulation in houses.
5. Plumbers and volunteers to help families repair leaking pipes and faulty plumbing. Leaks cause water damage and black mold. The reservations "Housing " Department has told many families that they do not have the money to repair the leaks and water damage. If volunteers can show people how to make the often simple repairs, mold can be prevented. Many houses are condemned because of black mold.
