Mayan Elder Hunbatz Men has reached and enhanced the spiritual quests of
many pilgrims throughout the years. For Hunbatz Men and his Mayan party, as
well as the Mayan Council of Elders, this is the time for the fulfillment of
prophecies and major cycles.  They see this as the time of return and
initiation of the incarnated Maya from ages past.  They call for ending and
beginning cycle precursors, such as the Dalai Lama coming to awaken the
slumbering Maya by doing ceremony at their most sacred site Chichen Itza.
They look at the world of today as not only in a state of systemic collapse,
but also situated for a powerful renewal.  They understand this to be a
turning of the ages and they call for us to play our instrumental roles.

The following from Elder Hunbatz Men gives us a feeling for this work and
this time of change.

SACRED MANUSCRIPT OF K'ALTUN

When time had no age, Tepeu and Gugumatz emerged from the heavens as
creators...as molders. Many times they met and, thanks to the harmony that
surged between them, they took a great decision. They asked HUNAB K'U for
the creation of the human being and of all the other forms of life on Mother
Earth.

HUNAB K'U responded: "From my House in the heavens, I imagined all the
creation on Earth. You will be the molders, the caretakers of what I will
create." HUNAB K'U built his house with a pyramidal shape and, at the top,
he set Huyubcaan and told him: "You will blow and everything will come into
life." In this way, everything was created in the house of God in the
heavens. HUNAB K'U placed the constellation of Orion in the center of his
pyramidal house in the heavens, so that it could bear the great light, the
great brilliance. This light was flushed with multiple colors that
harmonized with the cosmic, celestial music of the heavens. HUNAB K'U
decreed that the human being could spiritually enter this sacred temple
forever.

All this was accomplished by HUNAB K'U in seven stages of time. He said to
Tepeu and Gugumatz: "Stay together forever. You, Huyubcaan, will live at the
top of my pyramid as will Tepeu and Gugumatz. Each of you will be a star."
HUNAB K'U continued: "Take care of the light that I will leave inside my
temple. When you create the human beings, teach them to venerate my house,
because there they will find the light they need for their eternal life.
Also teach them that if they get lost, due to their errors, vices or
ignorance, then I, HUNAB K'U, will reclaim my beloved beings and will take
them to my temple of wisdom and feedback them again with my light which is
in the heavens. Then, together, Tepeu, Gugumatz and Huyubcaan, and I will
perform purification rituals using that brilliant light for the benefit of
my beloved creatures, whom we created and molded, so they can live in the
light of eternal wisdom."

This was done by the creators, the molders, before time was time. For this
reason the Maya people always remained attentive, watching the heavens for
thousands and thousands of years in order to understand the great law of
HUNAB K'U. In his honor and full of respect, thousands of pyramids were
built in many parts of the world and my ancestors, the Mayas, visited all of
them. They traveled toward all the cardinal points, North, South, East and
West. When they arrived in the province of Shensi, a group of pyramids was
built there, one of these pyramids rising 300 meters. When they were in
Tibet, the great white pyramid located along the Himalaya mountain range was
built. In the forests of Cambodia the pyramid of Angkor was built and in
Egypt other great pyramids were built, as was the case in many other
countries over the world. All of these pyramidal temples were built when
mankind lived in the light of cosmic wisdom.

In Wenk'al the Mayan priests reminded their people of the ancient prophecies
of the Solar Grandmother, the X NUC K'IN, so they could understand their
destiny. The X NUC K'IN prophesied: "It is written in time that a brother
from a faraway land, beyond the sea, will come to awaken the Maya people,
that remained asleep during the period of darkness. This brother will wear
the colors of the sun, which will remind the Maya people of their ancient
commitment with their solar creator. Only in this manner will the solar
cosmic knowledge return to be shared again with all the other members of the
sacred human race."

The human race will have to see, in the year 2001, the path of initiation on
Earth and in Heaven, and watch a new HUNAB K'U's pyramidal house and, in
spirit, visit Tepeu, Gugumatz and Huyubcaab. The human race may then be led
into the house of God and together they will pray, meditate and work with
the sacred light of the brightest star of Orion. Through this initiation
they will be able to see the luminosity of the Great Spirit. When this
spiritual initiation is completed in the house of HUNAB K'U in heaven, the
spirit of each initiate will be illuminated. Then, it will return to Earth
to awaken its body and take it to the pyramids. Chichen Itza, Uxmal, K'aba,
Edznah, Palenque, all of these sacred Mayan centers have a specific function
in every part of the body to awaken the seven powers contained in it.

Only through the solar initiation can the sleeping body of mankind be
awakened. The reincarnated teachers of the new age of Aquarius implore for
the sacred human race to wake up, so that they can fulfill their sacred
destiny of being the true sons and daughters of the cosmic light. The time
of knowledge is approaching, the light in the center of the pyramidal house
of Hunab K'u will flash like lightning that will pierce through the shadows
that cover the human race. Let us prepare to receive the light of knowledge
that comes from HUNAB K'U and transcend into the memory of the Creator and
become beings of eternal luminosity.
